At Spanish-Japanese Cultural Center, the Exhibition in collaboration with the artworks of painter Toshima Yasumasa and the literary works of Miguel de Unamuno starts.



 May 17, 2018 from 19:00, Opening Ceremony at Empress Michiko Hall in Spanish-Japanese Cultural Center was held. And violinist Ms. Lina Tur Bonet also attended. Public opening is from May 18.
 At Spanish-Japanese Cultural Center of Salamanca University, Exhibition of painter Toshima Yasumasa will be held with the collaboration of Unamuno Resident Museum and Embassy of Spain. Toshima Yasumasa nearly lived 30 years in Spain, and learned our culture through art and philosophical thought, and Miguel de Unamuno especially became a great existence to Toshima.
 This year is the year to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Establishment of Japan-Spain Diplomatic Relations, and the 800th Anniversary of Foundation of Salamanca University. Toshima’s Exhibition is one of the example to show the fusion of two cultures. In this Exhibition, Toshima’s leading works and Unamuno’s literary works are combined. And at the Exhibition, we could view the history of Unamuno’s translation in Japan.
 On May 17, from 19:00, Opening Ceremony at Empress Michiko Hall in Spanish-Japanese Cultural Center was held. And violinist Lina Tur Bonet also attended. Public opening will be from May 18.
